Long and Rich History in the Community

HISTORY OF COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
The Santa Rosa Seventh-day Adventist Church has a long and rich history, reflecting the roots and growth of the Seventh-day Adventist community in California. The church is part of a worldwide Christian denomination with a strong focus on the teachings of the Bible, particularly the observance of the Sabbath on Saturday.
Early Members
The early Adventist members in the late 19th and early 20th began holding meetings and worship services in small, rented spaces or members’ homes before a dedicated church building was established.
Over the decades, as the community of Adventists in Santa Rosa expanded, so did the church’s mission and physical presence. The church established various ministries focused on health, education, and community service.
Known for its outreach in the community
The Santa Rosa Seventh-day Adventist Church has become known for its outreach in the community, hosting events, supporting charitable efforts, and promoting educational programs. The church’s engagement has strengthened its connection with the surrounding neighborhoods, making it a respected and integrated part of Santa Rosa’s community fabric.
